⁵⁴ Waters flowed ^(A)over my head;
I said, “I am ^[a]cut off!”
⁵⁵ I ^(B)called on Your name, Lord,
Out of the lowest pit.
⁵⁶ You have ^(C)heard my voice,
“^(D)Do not cover Your ear from my plea for relief,
From my cry for help.”
